The Wall Sleeve is used to protect the chimney in the wall passage when the flue system passes to the outside wall. The gap between the flue and the Wall Sleeve can be filled with Rockwool. If going through the wall at 45 degrees, you will have to taper-cut the sleeve so that it fits flush in the wall. It can be cut using a grinder or a hacksaw.
